25+ years experience
I got into digital marketing nearly 4 decades ago. Yes, in the late 80s! My first website was on CompuServer in 87-88 for recruiting for medical profressionals.
In the 90s when I hired someone to do my 7th website because I was rusty and busy with my brick and mortar business, it was pretty disastrous. Tens of thousands of dollars later, I had enough! So I relearned my skills in HTML and built the site and sold it happily enought.
Next thing I know, I had other people I knew asking for help, and boom. Website building business.
The same thing happened with SEO: less than stellar results by hiring a company, so I got fed up and learned that too.
Same for apps, general marketing, AEO, software, social media, videos, podcasts, email and sms marketing, ads, and the whole infrastructure needed for building a successful business in the digital age.
I found that while there are some fantastic vendors for individual things, if you do not understand all the pieces and by design set them up to work together and have a strategic design overall, you have sub-optimal results.
By having a cohesive foundation, it can easily mean the difference from doing only $500,000 a year to doing over $1,000,000 per year for the same business. It even applies to a $5 million dollar site bumping up to a $10 million site because everything works smoothly together.
What I found is that I LOVED setting up all the strategic pieces and making them run like a well-oiled machine because of the huge impact it has on our clients!
I then dove into the marketing greats like Dan Kennedy, Clayton Makepeace, David Ogilvy, and others and learned direct response marketing and then applied this to our clients.
As near as I can tell based on having access to most, if not all, of the data, we have brought in about $2.5 Billion in leads for our clients over the years. (Apply all the legal disclaimers here; this does mean you will make $2.5 Billion, or even 2 cents blahh, blahh, blahh.)
The bottom line is that I have fun putting together Strategic Marketing Systems for clients that work great.
Ok, now for the normal bio information.
